Shaving Dyslexia

I have a problem. I suck at shaving. That’s the real reason I only shave once a week. It’s not because I’m lazy or like to look scruffy. (I am and I do) I find myself missing entire quadrants of my face. Or, on those days when I really take the time to do it, I make it to work and find that I missed like 4 hairs in a hard-to-miss spot. What the hell?!

Shaving is an art that very few men can TRULY master. Hang in there; we all are in this together.

Several years ago I started using a straight razor, and I love it. In just about every dimension (cost, safety, efficiency, etc.) a straight-razor is about the worst tool you can use. But it’s fun. Because it takes more work, it’s more satisfying.

It might be worth a shot, because if you have to spend more time shaving, and more importantly *enjoy* it, then you’ll be a lot less likely to skip over something. If you are interested, the two places I most highly recommend are:
